The right values
The water in the jacuzzi may look clean, but that says nothing about the quality of the water. The water in your jacuzzi may be full of bacteria, algae or other contaminants that you cannot always see with the naked eye. There are various tools such as test strips available that you can use to check the water values.
Does the test indicate that the water values are not optimal? Then you need to add chlorine, pH-plus or pH-minus to the water. The perfect chlorine value is between 1.5 and 2.0, but is also sufficient between 1.0 and 2.5. The pH value is ideal at 7.6, but also sufficient between 7.2 and 7.8. If the value is too low, add pH-plus. If the value is too high, add pH-min.
Test options
There are several ways to test the water in your jacuzzi. One of them is via test strips. Place the strips in the water for five seconds and then leave them for 15 seconds. After time has passed, the color changes and you can see the quality of the water based on the color chart. If you want a more durable testing product, you can purchase an electronic device to test the water. These are usually more expensive, but last a lot longer.
Test the water often enough
